Customizable Pincer Feed Systems

Customizable parameters of our Pincer Feed Systems

Strip width

The maximum width of the strip material to be processed (in mm).

Strip thickness

The maximum thickness of the strip material to be processed (in mm).

Feed length

The maximum length of the material to be conveyed in each stroke (in mm).

Belt speed

The speed at which the material is transported by the gripper feeder (in m/min).

Maximum feed rate

The maximum number of strokes per minute that the feed mechanism can achieve.

Clamp arrangement

The number and arrangement of clamps in the feed mechanism. Clamping feeds often use clamps or grippers to hold and advance the material.

Adjustable feed length

The ability to adjust the feed length according to requirements.

Safety features

The accessibility and ease of maintenance of the press influence the maintenance efficiency.

Customizability

The ability of the gripper feeder to adapt to different materials or material thicknesses.

Energy efficiency

The energy consumption of the clamping feed can be a factor, particularly with regard to operating costs and environmental impact.

Would you like to learn more about our collet feeders?

We would be happy to discuss your specific case in a non-binding conversation. You can expect the following:

  • joint concept discussion for the new gripper feed
  • first sketches of the new machine
  • Discussions with design and production
  • Access to confidential videos

You are welcome to contact me to arrange an appointment regarding the topic of collet feeds.

What is a clamp feed?

A gripper feed, also known as a clamping or gripping feed, is a device used in metal processing to precisely guide sheets or strips through a stamping, forming, or cutting press. Unlike a roller feed, where rollers pull the material, the gripper feed uses clamping jaws or grippers to hold the material and move it during the processing operation.
