Customizable parameters of our Hydraulic Stamping Presses
Pressure force
This parameter indicates the maximum force (in tons) that the press can exert. The pressing force is crucial for the press's ability to stamp materials.
Stroke length
The stroke refers to the maximum vertical movement of the ram or press head (in mm). It indicates how far the ram can be lowered and affects the maximum possible material thickness.
Working speed
The speed at which the ram can move up and down (strokes per minute) affects the production rate. The operating speed is often specified in strokes per minute.
Workspace
The size of the work area or table on which the material is placed affects the maximum size of the material to be processed.
Maximum material thickness
This parameter indicates how thick (in mm) the material can be that the Stamping Press can process.
Control system
The type of control system, whether manual, semi-automatic, or fully automatic, affects the operability and the level of automation of the Stamping Press.
Tool change system
Some Hydraulic Stamping Presses are equipped with automated tool change systems that facilitate the exchange of stamping tools and increase efficiency.
Energy consumption
The energy consumption of a Hydraulic Stamping Press can be a factor, especially when it comes to operating costs and environmental impact.
Safety features
Our Hydraulic Presses are equipped with various safety features, such as light barriers, emergency stop switches, and safety zones, to prevent accidents.

The ability to use or adjust various tools can enhance the versatility of the hydraulic Stamping Press.
Features of our Stamping Press
Occupational safety
The G+K press series was developed with the highest safety standards to ensure one hundred percent accident-free operation.
Press ram movement
All functions of the ram can be freely selected and adjusted, such as the top dead center, switching from rapid travel to working stroke, and switching from the bottom dead center to the upward movement. Additionally, supplementary functions can be controlled during both the downward and upward movements, such as draw cushions, ejectors, feeding systems, and process lubrication, etc. Furthermore, there is the option to regulate the speeds of the ram, as well as the pressing force and dwell times at the bottom dead center.
Cylinder and Piston
The cylinder is the central press component, manufactured solidly for a long, trouble-free lifespan. The fixed stop is adjustable on the upper side, continuing from the piston. The main piston is made of solid steel, ground, hard-chromed, and finely ground. This is essential for a long service life.
Mechanical fixed stop manually adjustable
The normal limitation of the downward movement of the ram is achieved through contactless, mechanically adjustable electronic sensors. A fixed stop extending upward from the piston ensures precise stroke limitation. The adjustment of the fixed stop is done by rotating the fixed stop nut on a trapezoidal thread. The thread is fully capable of withstanding the full pressing force.
Hydraulic Drive
The hydraulic unit is compactly positioned next to the press. All components are constructed in block design. This results in low power losses and achieves a very high efficiency. To protect the machine and the hydraulic components, all drive units are equipped with a cooling system (water or air cooling). This keeps the oil temperature constant and is additionally monitored. For ease of maintenance, it is particularly noteworthy that the hydraulic system is centrally mounted at working height.
Two-hand safety operation
Is installed according to UVV regulations to protect the operators.
Paint
The press body is painted in light gray RAL 7035, and the ram/cylinder is painted in rapeseed yellow RAL 1021. Special coating is available upon request for an additional charge. The paint and coating process are environmentally friendly.
The special advantages of the G+K Press Concept
-
Extremely short setup times can be achieved. The 'Up' and 'Down' quick motions swiftly bridge the idle paths and reach a maximum of 10% of the machine's nominal force. This ensures optimal protection for the tool and the machine in case of any operational errors.
The pressure forces are adjustable. Every part that is shaped experiences the same process pressure force at the bottom dead center. This guarantees consistent tolerances on the finished workpieces.
The dwell time control at the bottom dead center allows for processing of all materials. This control compensates for the rebound characteristics of materials.
The press room is very accessible, providing maximum freedom for manual or automatic operation (loading and unloading).
The hydraulic drive unit is very maintenance-friendly and easily accessible.
The guide for the press ram is robustly designed and ensures high guiding accuracy.
The electrical and electronic controls are centrally located. The setting and reading accuracy are clearly visible and easy to operate. The core of the electrical and electronic control is a freely programmable PLC.
-
All components of the machine stand, the cylinder, the ram, and the guides are made of solid material. The ram running surfaces are hard-chromed and ground to achieve high service lives.
-
A SE Stamping Press can be seamlessly combined with all automation components such as unwinders, straightening machines, feed units, etc., included in the G + K program.
Options for our Stamping Press
Ram guide via linear guides
The ram, a robustly designed steel-welded structure, is guided precisely in its movement by 8 guide cars on high-precision linear guides. This results in high machine accuracy and minimal tilting, even with off-center loads. The tolerances specified by VDI 3145 regarding tilting are significantly exceeded.
Ram guide via round columns
The ram, made as a solid steel plate, is guided in its movement by round columns. These serve both to prevent twisting and to ensure the straight motion of the cylinder. An off-center load on the ram is not provided for in this design.
Accesories
Vibration Damper
The Vibration Dampers are used to place the Stamping Press on a stable shop floor without foundation mounting. They are suitable for damping any vibrations that may occur during operation and for decoupling the shop floor from these vibrations. They also help in noise reduction.
Motorized adjustment of the fixed stop
The electromotoric fixed stop setting is controlled by a position measuring system.
Relief control for spring packages
In this comfort version, controlled relief of the piston against the pressure from spring packs, for example in the tool, is ensured. Pressure relief after the switch-over point is regulated by a pressure sensor, which enables a metered relief of the piston up to a defined pressure level via the proportional valve. The comfort feature 'Relief Regulation' allows for a pressure display on the screen.
Draw cushion over a piston surface
The piston surface of the draw cushion serves as the contact area for operating the tool functions. The operation occurs through oil displacement. The force of the draw cushion is infinitely adjustable. Control and drive are managed by the press control and hydraulic system.
Tool clamping system hydraulic 4 + 4
The tools are clamped to the table and ram with four clamping elements each.
Light barrier protection
The light barrier for the work area serves to allow unrestricted operation of the stamping press during loading tasks, as well as providing accident protection in selectable and designated operating modes. The light barrier can operate in single or double cycle mode, significantly increasing the speed of operation and thus the machine's efficiency.
Roller rail elements
The roller rail elements allow for the free movement of tools on the table surface, making it very easy to position the tools. The elements are inserted into the table's T-slots. They can be either permanently mounted or removed after use. The operation is carried out hydraulically via the press hydraulics. Two indexing holes are provided on the table surface for tool positioning in end positions.
Tool change suspension supports
These attachments can usually be mounted on the front of the Press, and, upon request, also on the rear of the press. This auxiliary device makes tool changes significantly easier and safer.
Foot switch
According to the UVV regulations, foot switches for operating presses can only be used if shielded and safeguarded tools are employed.
Ejector in the ram
The ejector in the ram, if desired, is hydraulically operated, can be directly controlled via the control system, and can be used multifunctionally. In addition to the basic ejection and holding functions, it can also be used as a function of the ram for additional tasks, such as perforating.
