While traveling by train, hardly anyone thinks about the wheels, but these are extremely important safety components that reliably carry many tons of load every day and withstand high speeds. Therefore, the greatest care is required during production. Our design team has designed a special new, unique hydraulic press for this purpose. With a force of 3000 kN, or 300 tons, it presses serial numbers and quality indicators into glowing train wheels.
A special design was chosen to compensate for the uneven load on the press ram during stamping. Despite the unusual shape, the machine, which weighs around 20 tons, is exceptionally stable and will be perfectly integrated into the complex manufacturing process. We are proud of this development.
The hydraulic press is equipped with a "manipulator" that also removes the stamped wheels.
